R&D Surgical Ltd partnered with award-winning design consultancy PDR to develop Brace, a next-generation medical device for the treatment of Pectus Carinatum.
We produced a case study testimonial video that brought the product story to life, focusing on innovation, user experience and the design thinking behind the solution.
Filmed with Roger Thomas of R&D Surgical, the video explores how Brace reimagines an outdated category with a discreet, comfortable and clinically effective alternative.
Designed to sit neatly beneath clothing, the brace uses contemporary materials, soft-touch components and easy-to-adjust mechanisms to improve comfort, confidence and day-to-day wearability, particularly for teenage patients.
The film positions PDR’s role in shaping a more empathetic, human-centred medical device, while clearly communicating the product’s technical and functional benefits.
